Briggs Auto Body of Topeka is now hiring an experienced estimator (2+ years experience preferred) to join our team. The right individual should have good work ethic, take pride in their work, be compassionate, cheerful, and helpful to customers, be reliable, and have multitasking skills. Must have computer knowledge and be able to inform customers on progress of repairs while overseeing repairs and be detail oriented.
Our goal is to provide high quality, timely repairs to every job we do all while providing the same family feel that Briggs Auto Group has produced for 40 years!
Job Responsibilities:
Examine damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage.
Write accurate estimates and track the vehicles progress through the repair process.
Work with the insurance companies to manage the claims and generate supplements for our customers.
Keep customers continually informed and the files updated.
Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction with repairs.
Follow up to ensure productivity within the shop.
Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently in a fast-paced work environment.
Track vehicles through repair process, maintain cycle time.
Requirements:
Experience in the estimating/body shop/automotive field.
Insurance company estimator a big plus.
I-Car certifications a plus.
Confidence to handle high volumes under pressure.
Knowledge in Estimating CCC Pathways / CCC One/Audatex/Mitchell.
Effectively communicate with insurance companies and customers.
Strong organizational and computer skills.
All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background
checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
