Responsible for Operation, Replacement, Repair and Maintenance of building related electrical and control systems. Work involves the lifting of heavy equipment and apparatus, and may be performed in areas of extreme heat, cold, and/or noise. Receives and responds to service calls, takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations or system breakdowns. Ensure all preventive maintenance is completed and necessary repair are always made. Ensures that work area/plant is always clean, safe, and that managed/generated utilities meet delivery specifications. Oversees contractors, routine and preventive maintenance work to ensure work is performed appropriately and in a safe manner. Communicates with operations management teams, tenants/utility system end users, and Business Unit Stakeholders. The Electrician requires a Journeyman Craftsman skillset
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Minimum Requirements
HS Diploma or greater
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the operation & maintenance
of building electrical, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and/or control systems
Experience with customer line of business
Experience with customer building type(s)
Licenses/Certifications
AHJ license/certification Electrical/Electrician Required
Formal education and/or training aligning with the State of Kansas General Journeyman Electrician Certification, C10 or similar programs
Formal OEM or employer training, Trade School, apprenticeship program, etc., or combination thereof, strongly desired
Must have a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations

Salary: From $47.42 per hour
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
