Job Description

Broadridge is looking for a client facingProject Manager whose main responsibility is to lead projects and convert sales into new revenue.This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader that enjoys working in this fast paced environment using new technology and solutions.Candidate must push through hurdles and ensure that the various team stays on track and meet the needs of our clients.This role will be based out of our Deer Park, NY office.

  • You'll create and update project plans, resolve project and resource conflicts, facilitate solutions across department boundaries, track and communicate progress of multiple concurrent projects and drive a sense of urgency and commitment across all projects.
  • Works closely and seamlessly with multiple departments including Development, Business, Quality Assurance and senior management.
  • Ensurethe successful completion of assigned projects and programs by effectively facilitating, tracking and reporting status through consistent, standardized dashboards and metric reporting in support of Broadridge and department specific strategic goals and objectives.
  • Reviews all projects including the assessment of risk to timeline, budget, customer satisfaction, as well as managing impact of changes to project scope.
  • Identifyproject bottlenecks, risks and opportunities, provides analyses and recommendations on progress of projects and serves as the partner concern point for senior management related to project specific issues.
  • Assesses issues and risks and assures plans for remediation are in effect or raised to assure timely resolution.
  • Applies knowledge SDLC and PMO 'Best Practices' and provides process guidance to development team.
  • Work with business and development team to deliver complex projects, possibly across multiple technology teams - e.g. multiple dev teams, Technology Services
  • May also require interaction with the client
  • Oversight responsibilities on project coordinators and specialists that may be owning small workstreams within the large project

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject area
  • 3+ years of project management experience within an Information Technology Organization
  • Handling sophisticated projects or multiple projects combined into a program with demonstrated success
  • Proficient in MS-Excel and Power Point
  • Consistent record for delivering results
  • PMP or equivalent certification
