A northwest Wichita daycare is currently seeking motivated individuals for full time employment. We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 6 months experience in a licensed child care facility, but we do prefer a year. Although we do appreciate the hard work you put in as a parent or nanny, these do not count towards the Stateâs requirement as experience. Applicants must be able to pass a KBI background check as well. State required classes are a bonus to have, but we are willing to train the right person. If you have been out of childcare for a while, new classes have been added to the State requirements.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Being punctual and reliable, caring for children of all ages, diaper changes, implementing lesson plans (which include math, science, reading, and art activities as well as other things), cleaning up in the rooms and around the center, speaking with parents, and contributing to the overall excellence of the work place.
