Join a leading aerospace team supporting Bombardier business jet programs in Wichita, KS.We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter / Aviation Painter to perform surface preparation, spray painting, and finishing on corporate aircraft, including Global and Challenger platforms. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality finishes on large aircraft structures in a production environment.Perform surface preparation, sanding, masking, and cleaning of aircraft prior to paint applicationApply primer, topcoat, and aerospace coatings using spray equipment (HVLP preferred)Mask, unmask, and protect sensitive aircraft areas including windows and componentsRemove existing coatings, contaminants, and residues using approved methods and materialsPerform bodywork including putty application, sanding, buffing, and polishingApply chemical treatments such as Alodine to aircraft surfacesExecute touch-up and refinishing work to meet quality standardsRead and interpret engineering drawings and work instructionsDocument completed work per Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM)Support aircraft movement and assist other team members as requiredFollow all safety, quality, and production guidelines in a regulated aerospace environment
