We Are Hiring Armed Security Officer - Security - Full-Time, Rotating - Ascension Via Christi Hospital St Francis - Wichita, KSApplicant is required to work various shifts, with undetermined days off, as needed. What You Will Do As an Associate with Via Christi Health, you will have the opportunity to provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.Responsibilities:
Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats.
Investigates, documents and manages security incidents and hazards.
Maintains knowledge/follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans. May facilitate planned drills and simulations.
Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote safety.
What You Will Need Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
Security Guard obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Preferred Credential(s):
Drivers License credentialed from the Kansas Department of Motor Vehicles.
Education:
Diploma
High school diploma or GED required.
Work Experience:
None required.
