Objective:The Facility and Environmental Services (EVS) Solutions Manager manages the business operations of assigned client service areas, specifically in the healthcare and commercial sectors. This role combines managing building maintenance solutions (janitorial and non-janitorial) with overseeing environmental services (housekeeping, infection prevention, and compliance with competency evaluations. The manager will lead a team of Environmental Service Technicians and independent contractors to ensure client satisfaction, meet operational objectives, and maintain a clean, safe environment in compliance with environmental regulations.The essential functions of this job are as follows:· Client and Contractor Management:Manage and nurture all aspects of client relationships, ensuring retention, sales and service expansion, and the diversification of services across building maintenance and environmental services.Communicate on contracts with clients, including identifying extra sales opportunities, planning for janitorial work, environmental compliance, and infection control in healthcare settings, and providing training.Hire, train, and manage relationships with contractors and Environmental Service Technicians (EVS Techs), ensuring compliance with service agreements and performance standards.· Service Strategy and Operations:Develop and implement customized service strategies for commercial and healthcare clients, including daily checklists, cleaning schedules, sanitation, and infection control measures, particularly in critical areas like operating rooms (OR) and patient rooms.Oversee the daily operations of janitorial and non-janitorial services, including housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and compliance with healthcare sanitation standards.Conduct regular inspections of client sites to ensure quality control and client satisfaction.· Training and Compliance:Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for EVS Techs and other staff, focusing on proper cleaning procedures, infection prevention, compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, and industry-specific guidelines (e.g., AORN for healthcare).Train staff on Terminal Cleaning processes for operating rooms, patient rooms, and other critical healthcare areas.Educate contractors on safety protocols, quality standards, and managing chemicals and cleaning equipment.· Environmental Compliance and Quality Control:Ensure that environmental services are aligned with federal and local regulations, including infection prevention and waste disposal.Perform detailed quality inspections and immediately address any client issues or complaints.· Financial Management:Develop annual maintenance plans for the facility solutions and environmental services departments, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to financial goals.Approved and monitored payroll for night managers and contractors, ensuring accurate and timely payments.Assist with the procurement of supplies and the management of supply inventories for all clients.· Staff Leadership and Collaboration:Supervise and guide the performance of Night Managers, ensuring that services are delivered according to client expectations and contracts.Maintaining a collaborative and positive work environment fosters teamwork among staff and contractors.Participate in hiring and onboarding unfamiliar staff, ensuring that all new hires are trained to meet facility and environmental service standards.RequirementsExperience:3-5+ years of management experience in building maintenance, facility management, environmental services, or a related field.Education:A high school diploma is required, but a bachelor’s degree in management, business, environmental science, or a related field is preferred.BenefitsBenefits:
