Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fleet Mechanic to join our team. This position involves performing a wide range of repairs on tractors and trailers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent customer service skills to be a resource for our drivers and to help them maintain full DOT compliance.
Responsibilities:
Perform all manner of repairs on tractors and trailers.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
Ensure vehicles are in full compliance with DOT regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to drivers and assist them with maintenance concerns.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a mechanic.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Have basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. Efficiently navigate a web browser, etc.
Ideal candidate has CDL A w/ HM and Tank endorsements.
