This position will be responsible for performing day to day repairs, preventative and emergency maintenance for a single property community, their structures, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and emergency systems repairds as needed. Employee will be responsible to handle maintenance calls/work orders in a timely and orderly manner per company policies.
Key duties will include but are not limited to:
Basic plumbing: changing out a toilet, plumbing fixtures, faucets, etc.
Troubleshoot repairs on appliances, electric, plumbing, mechanical and HVAC troubleshooting
Routine preventative maintenance: filters, inspections and more.
Responsible for apartment turnover general maintenance: painting, cleaning, repairs, carpentry work, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have valid driver’s license.
Live within 20 minutes of property.
The desired candidate will be a jack of all trades, with the ability to communicate professionally with tenants and vendors. Would like someone to have HVAC certification or strong working knowledge of HVAC systems.
Must be able to use PC and/or smartphone for communications with management and for ordering materials and supplies
Have tools for the job
Have ability to walk property grounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, and climb ladders, lift over 50lbs.
This position will be required to maintain property's appearance, salt sidewalks in the winter
High school diploma or GED and 3-5 years of related experience and or training

Schedule: Day shift part-time and on-call evenings/weekends.
