As Maintenance Technician, your chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility in Calvert City KY. This will include conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment. This is a physically active role requiring the ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity, and frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds. If you are a “Jack or Jill of all trades” with a strong knowledge of electrical, carpentry and plumbing, this position would be a perfect fit for you!Primary Responsibilities:
conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.
Perform tasks for the upkeep of buildings and grounds
Utilize carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills for minor repairs
Perform preventive maintenance of pumps and motors
Ability to read manuals to assist in repairs
Always maintain a clean and pristine work area
Develop preventative maintenance procedures, document completed work orders and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facility
Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Experience 2+ years in maintenance related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or license in carpentry, welding or electrical field
Associate Degree from a two-year college or technical school in related field
Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and OSHA training
