Job Title: Part-Time Maintenance Technician
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team servicing mobile home parks. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the park’s facilities, infrastructure, and common areas, ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks specific to mobile home parks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in mobile homes, common areas, and facilities (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry).
- Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Handle resident maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
- Assist with landscaping, trash removal, and maintaining the appearance of the park grounds.
- Troubleshoot and repair park infrastructure, such as roads, lighting, and signage.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and order parts as needed.
- Ensure that maintenance activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests during off-hours, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance or facilities management is preferred, especially in mobile home parks or similar environments.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with residents.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible schedule and ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.
