Position PurposePerforms needed work in the concession area and maintains health department standards in all cleaning and cooking duties performed in the concession area.Essential Functions and Basic Duties
Operates concession stands and handles concession monies.
Assists in completing deposit at the end of the day.
Performs necessary cleaning activities in the concession area.
Maintains state health department standards in operation of the concession area.
Assists in the ordering of concession supplies.
Assists with recognizing & correcting safety concerns in all park facilities.
Performs related work as required.
QualificationsTraining and Experience:
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Special Requirement(s):
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Must consent to and pass a criminal background check.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks simultaneously such as working the concession window, handling money, cooking food items, and keeping records of deposits and cleaning tasks.
Knowledge of health department standards or ability to learn standards.
Ability to maintain recordkeeping of tasks completed and other items necessary to the operation of the concession area.
Ability to perform minimal secretarial skills.
Ability to handle money and make correct change.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public.
Ability to keep confidential information.
