Staffmark, is seeking talented candidates to fill the role of Mig Welder in the Frankfort, KY area. This is a Temp-to-Hire position for the right candidate.
As a Mig Welder, you will be fabricating metal products in a fast paced manufacturing environment. This position requires lifting of up to 100 pounds with the use of overhead cranes.
Working Hours: 1st shift Monday-Friday from 6 am to 5pm, plus overtime as needed.
Requirements:
One or more years of Trade school experience, other apprenticeship experience, or on-the-job experience in related field or industry.
Ability to read a tape measure and ruler (ability to convert fractions to decimals and conversely decimals to fractions).
Ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision while meeting all product quality
Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of engineered specified tolerances.
Ability to lift, carry, pull and/or push up to 60lbs.
Pass a drug test.
