We are looking for heavy equipment operators with at least 3 years experience operating an excavator on utility and site projects. Must have experience operating equipment on construction sites where proximity to utility lines and fellow workers requires additional skills.

Responsibilities of Position:
Heavy Equipment Operators are responsible for safe operation of bulldozers, graders, excavators, backhoes, front end loaders, off road dump trucks, and other equipment.
Operate the backhoe to dig trenches and perform grading work.
Use the grader to level and smooth surfaces.
Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections on equipment and complete necessary forms.
Equipment operators are exposed to unpleasant odors and weather elements.
Communicate with supervisor throughout the job process.
Strong knowledge of excavation techniques and equipment operation.
Follow DOT regulations; ensure proper permits and driving regulations are followed.
May perform labor duties as needed and other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including sitting, standing, reaching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing).
Able to perform physical strenuous work
Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50lbs
Able to walk, climb, and maintain balance on equipment in a safe manner
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Work is performed outside in varying types of environmental conditions.
Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, and safety training.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
3 year(s): Experience operating Excavator, Backhoe, Dozer, Grader
Strong knowledge of equipment operation techniques and safety procedures.
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
