Job Overview

We are seeking two reliable and dedicated Van Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. One driver will operate a 2019 Mercedes Benz Sprinter, and the other will operate a 2022 Mercedes Benz Sprinter. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo. The state of residence of the driver does not matter.

Duties

Operate a van to transport goods to various locations around USA, ensuring timely delivery.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.

Follow designated routes while being adaptable to changes in delivery schedules.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and address any issues that may arise during deliveries.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.

Valid driver's license required (CDL not required); experience in route driving is a plus.

Must have a clean driving record.

Previous experience as a delivery driver is not required but is highly desirable.

Basic understanding of English is required; a high level of proficiency is not necessary.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

A keen attention to detail for ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Compensation

Starting pay will be calculated by miles driven to the load and to the delivery. The starting pay rate is 35 cents per mile.

Pay rates will increase based on the quality of work and the time worked.

Based on our past experience, drivers typically drive between 3,000 to 5,000 miles per week.

There is no load board, unlike working for trucking companies.

Drivers will not be responsible for fuel, car maintenance.

In between delivery loads, there are no restrictions on where you can rest, unlike truck driving, where drivers are often limited to staying at truck stops.

The van is equipped with a heating system, air conditioning, and a sleeping station for your comfort during long drives.

The schedule is very flexible and can be adjusted around the driver's personal needs, including vacations, family events, religious observances, or any personal time off.
