Bourke Accounting is currently seeking an experienced full time Bookkeeper/Accountant. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy are important qualification for this position, as well as good customer relations, and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, works well under pressure, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.
We are a fast-paced tax and accounting office where each bookkeeper manages several clients of various industries.
Job responsibilities include:
Bookkeeping
Payroll Filings
Account Reconciliation
Sales Tax
Financial Statements Preparation
Handle all correspondence with IRA, State Taxes & Localities
Requirement for the position include:
Associates Degree with continuing education
Minimum 3-5 years accounting experience
Strong verbal & written communications skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Proficiency in Quick Books Software and Accounting Solutions

This is a regular, full-time exempt position scheduled to work as follows:
Regular Season (Day after Tax Day through Dec. 31st): Mondays through Fridays, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Tax Season (Jan. 2nd through Tax Day in April): Mondays through Fridays, 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
The starting pay range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in benefits the first of the month following the date of hire. Benefits include:
