Awareness & Confidence Training / Female Assault Safety Training
A.C.T. F.A.S.T. Self-Defense for Women, based in Louisville, offers comprehensive community-based personal safety and self-defense seminars for females of all ages. Our group clients range from college organizations to professional firms and other organizations, and we take the classes to our clients' locations. We focus on the relationship between physical fitness and self-defense. We are looking for 3 to 5 females to train to be self-defense co-instructors and join our staff for teaching classes in the Louisville area.
To qualify, you must be: mature, outgoing, empathetic, comfortable in front of a group and with striking male instructors (don't worry, our "dummies" can take it!), aware of women's safety issues and the unique challenges women face in today's society, and athletic or very physically fit.
Petite stature required (5-7 or shorter, proportional weight). Those most successful have had backgrounds in soccer, running, cheerleading, gymnastics, dance, fitness, etc. The selection process can be competitive and training can be intense.
No experience necessary. NO MARTIAL ARTS INVOLVED OR WANTED! Flexible part-time hours, mostly evenings and weekends. $25-35/hr plus bonuses. Perfect opportunity for college students or others requiring flexible schedules. Training office close to the University of Louisville. Have fun, earn excellent part-time income, and help EMPOWER your fellow women and show them that no means NO!
