Partners Personnel has partnered with a leading company that produces cell phones and accessories right here in Jeffersonville, IN! This global logistics and production leader supports its clients by streamlining operations and meeting their supply chain demands. They are looking to fill multiple Equipment Operator positions immediately.
Shifts:
1st Shift 6a- 4:30p Monday - Thursday
2nd Shift 5p- 3:30am Monday - Thursday
Warehouse Pay Rate - $18.50-$20
Forklift Pay Rate - $20.50-$21
Warehouse Essential Functions
Load/Unload inbound and/or outbound freight from trailers/containers
Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
Transport raw materials to production workstations
Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
Forklift Essential Functions
Job Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of warehouse equipment, including: Raymond sit-down forklifts, Reach trucks, Turret trucks, Electric pallet jacks
Moves materials off trucks, pallets or racks and prepare orders for shipment
Safely move, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse.
Support picking, staging, and shipping of orders.
Maintain equipment by performing daily inspections and reporting any issues.
Essential Functions
Prefer 2-4 years of experience
Must be able to read, decode, and decipher freight coding
Consistently lift, standing, bending, and rotating motions
Must be able to read and write English
Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government and company required background checks, clearances and/or drug and alcohol tests.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to move about the warehouse to access products, machinery, and assist others
Must be able to move and place cartons on pallets weighing up to 60 pounds
Must be able to bend downward using legs at the knee
Must be able to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, estimate, and assess product
Must be able to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, and exchange accurate information
