Responsibilities include coordinating patient charges and billing issues, insurance verification and the pre-certification processes, morning startup meetings, Athena support and other revenue cycle duties. Also, timely patient flow by assigning, directing and assessing patient€™s needs. Ensures the performance of quality patient care throughout the practice.Principal Duties and Job Responsibities:
Assist the clinic manager in the day to day operations.
Assist in developing and maintaining systems to track patient follow up and compliance.
Conduct morning startup meetings for communication of daily planning.
Obtain patient vitals and reason for visit.
Provide patient care in the clinic setting under the guidance of the provider.
QualificationsKnowledge and Skills Required:
Demonstrate appropriate documentation skills.
Basic Knowledge and understanding of clinical operations.
Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or GED
Clinical office experience equivalent to two years
Certified Medical Assistant
Maintains CPR Certification
