Sika is looking for an experienced Plant Manager to join it's growing team in Versailles, KentuckyThe Plant Manager at Sika will play a key role in: overseeing safety, efficient production schedules and output, inventory, on time delivery, quality and continuous improvement projects. Key Responsibilities:Supervision of production personnel in order to meet daily operational schedules.Organize and ensure the implementation of production, safety and quality assurance activities including mixing, testing, labeling, and packaging and shipping; ensure production and product quality meet specifications.Resolve production and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.Maintain spending and cost control measures in accordance with budgets and commitments agreed to with manager.Accurate financial reporting and forecastingInsure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations and Sika policies and procedures; serve as site safety representative; conduct training, record keeping and reporting in accordance with Sika policiesMaintain quality standards, records and files in conformance with Sika quality standards; compiles, stores and retrieves production data.Satisfy customer on-time shipping requirements with minimum inventory investment; maintain inventory controls and levels to conform with budgets and forecasts while optimizing customer service levels; perform cycle counts and physical inventories; purchase raw materials and coordinate deliveries to meet production schedules.Inspect machines, tanks and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization; maintain equipment in good working order; maintain buildings and grounds.Maintain safe and clean work environment in accordance with Sika standards
