About the Role-
We are in the process of building out a working farm and eco-friendly community entertainment facility, looking for a Farm Foreman to take charge of day-to-day operations and help guide the farm through build out. This position will begin as temporary, with the goal of moving into long-term, permanent employment for the right candidate.
The Foreman will supervise crews, operate and maintain heavy machinery, plan planting and harvesting schedules, oversee budgets, and ensure compliance with farm and safety standards. If you’re experienced in farm work, skilled with machinery, and able to lead a team, we want to hear from you.
Key Duties + Responsibilities:
-Supervise and coordinate farm crew activities
-Operate and maintain farm machinery and heavy equipment (tractors, loaders, excavators, etc.)
-Plan and oversee planting, cultivation, and harvesting
-Handle farm maintenance, build-outs, and infrastructure projects
-Oversee budgets and help manage farm expenses
-Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and labor standards
-Report progress and challenges to management regularly
Required Skills + Experience:
-Several years of hands-on farm work
-Proven heavy machinery and mechanical skills for equipment operation and repair
-Supervisory or crew management experience
-Ability to plan, organize, and problem-solve in real time
-Driver’s license required; CDL preferred
Education:
-High school diploma or GED required
-Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field helpful but not required
Compensation+ Benefits:
-Pay will be based on experience and discussed during the hiring process
