This position will assist Maintenance Technicians with troubleshooting pertaining to VFDs, servo drives, robotics, PLCs, and general electrical controls.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: Update Firmware in all control devices (PLCS, HMIs, etc.)Troubleshoot and implement safety interlocksImplement quality improvements on production equipmentAssist Production Engineering with trialsAssist Mechanical & Electrical Engineering with improvement projectsManage battery replacement programManage program back-up scheduleWork with Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot issues pertaining to electrical controlsImplement improvements to reduce machine downtimePreferred Requirements: Associates degree in a technical or engineering area of study7 years of related experienceMinimum QualificationsTypically requires a high school degree; or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degreeBridgestone is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
