Paint Supervisor

DescriptionResponsibilities

Meets with the production planning team to plan paint and deliveries for the next shipping day.

Responsible for the Quality of product going into paint and shipping to customers

Through group leaders, supervises painting, forklift truck deliveries of raw materials finished goods from the assembly line or warehouse area.

Is responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the paint, material storage, and shipping areas.

Performs monthly Finished Good counts and reports out.

Responsible for the testing and reporting of all paint functions.

Orders paint and shipping supplies as needed.

Have Safety First focus, experience with maintaining a safe shop floor environment.

Familiar with TAKT and Std Cost Efficiency reporting

Qualifications

Completion of technical/vocational program a plus;

Minimum 5+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment;

Minimum 2+ years of supervisory/managerial experience

Prior painting experience with paint booth, set-up, quality, etc

Strong people skills and ability to organizational ability required;

Prior experience working with 5S and lean manufacturing techniques.
