Responsibilities:
Learn and apply tax preparation procedures to assist clients with filing accurate federal, state, and local tax returns.
Consult with clients to gather financial data and understand their tax needs.
Identify potential deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities.
Stay informed on basic tax regulations and updates through company-provided training.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive client information.
Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
No prior tax experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training.
Experience in the business world (e.g., accounting, finance, management, or other related fields).
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn tax laws, regulations, and software (e.g., Taxslayer, Taxwise, Drake, or similar).
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
