Provide learning experiences in accordance with students' needs and abilities
Notify department chair of absence with course substitution plan in a timely manner
Maintain accurate grade and attendance records

Job ConceptsLooking for adjunct instructors for ASN and Practical Nursing Programs. Applicants for adjunct in ASN program must possess a master's degree in nursing. Applicants for adjunct clinical instructor for the Practical Nursing program must have at least 3 years of hospital nursing experience and at least one of these must be on a medical surgical unit. Nursing Home experience a plus.Adjunct faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. Adjunct faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed.Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies.
