Both schools occupy the same campus servicing students throughout the state who are deaf, hard of hear hearing and/or visually impaired. LSDVI operates seven days a week 24 hours a day on 116 acres and includes 22 building with 486,029 square feet under roof. Physical Activity Level- 3: Work requires moderate effort for such activities as bending, stretching, stooping walking over rough, uneven or rocky surfaces, or lifting thirty or forty pounds. Work may require brief periods in which heavy muscular exertion is required.
