The Senior Value-Based Programs Professional work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.Humana is seeking an individual to provide support for its expansion of value-based programs, working heavily with internal and external stakeholders to achieve success in the value-based space. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and valuation of new programs, as well as the maintenance of current programs.

Utilizes complex SQL, SAS, Power BI, and other technical skills to drive process improvement and assist markets in managing their value-based relationships

Conducts research and produces reporting of key performance metrics, providing an understanding of how the data reconciles and what it means for current and potential programs

Assists in producing reports and completing ad hoc requests using Excel, PowerPoint, SAS and other various analytical tools

Provides support for current value-based agreements

Grasps complex subjects and works independently to devise creative solutions

Aids in the evaluation and expansion of all value-based programs into new markets and business areas

3+ years' experience with data interpretation and analysis (example: program performance and financial results)

Microsoft Office Suite expertise, particularly in Excel: pivot tables, formulas, graphs, etc.

Financial and business acumen; proven ability to put context around data

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Knowledge of SAS, SQL or other relational database management systems

Experience with Microsoft PowerBi or similar data visualization tool

Familiar with Humana's internal systems (EDW, Service Fund, etc)

Additional InformationThis role is considered "remote/work at home" and can be based anywhere in the United States, however, preference will be given to candidates that are currently located in the Louisville, KY region.Work at Home InformationTo ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
