Seeking female direct support worker must be 18 years or older. for individual with CP. Individual is physically disabled, in a wheelchair full time and therefore requires 24-hour personal care. Individuals needs include (but are not limited to) bathing, meal-prep, assistance in the restroom, transportation, light house-keeping, shopping, etc. Looking for someone who desires fun, energetic, and creative outings, able to be a true companion. MUST LOVE DOGS
Looking for someone reliable and able to show up to work on time. Must be courteous and respectful and have a good sense of humor.
Available shifts are 12-hour shifts:
Looking for someone Monday through Friday 8 PM to 8 AM shift times are nonnegotiable
Must meet all the requirements before obtaining this position
Required:
One weekend a month is required if needed for Back up
required.
Must have basic computer skills
Must be able to keep documentation in order
Required nonnegotiable
Must have Valid drivers license required and nonnegotiable
Must have Valid car insurance required nonnegotiable
Must be able to pass criminal background check required
Must be able to pass random drug tests required
Must have own, reliable transportation required nonnegotiable
Must be able to lift 125lbs (transferring individual from chair, bed, etc) required
Again- must love dogs (two labs) and be willing and able to assist in caring for them. Required nonnegotiable
