Part time technician to maintain a solar research station on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities
Weekly Site Visit - Time of day doesn't matter as long as the day of the week stays consistent
Clean select solar panels
Clean and level pyranometers and other sensors
Address any maintenance issues, such as clearing of grass and weeds, tensioning of guy wires, etc
Document all actions performed by taking photos and thoroughly completing the site form
Upload photos via a sharing app on smart phone
Communicate clearly with Harness Energy project manager
Requirements
Smart phone, needed for:
- Taking photos
- Downloading and utilizing a free file sharing application called Box
- Utilizing a shared Google Calendar
- Sending texts and making calls to a Harness Project Manager
Maintain and monitor an email address
General technical aptitude
General knowledge of hand tool usage
Consistently and reliably visit the station on a weekly basis
Reliable transportation, during all times of years and in various weather conditions
Compensation
$100 per visit.
-A visit is deemed completed when all required photos and site forms have been received and reviewed by Harness Energy.
-Maintenance Techs are paid on a bi-weekly basis
