Field Technicians are responsible for setting up various types of survey equipment designed to count vehicles and collect traffic data. We are looking for a dependable, part-time Field Technician to service projects across the Baton Rouge area and throughout the Southeast. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to a part-time schedule that averages 30 hours per week across the year. Depending on project location and duration, overnight stays will be required. You can expect to travel approximately 10% of the time. All work is conducted using a company vehicle. Hotels, meal reimbursements, travel hours, and flights (if required) are all paid for by the company. Our office is located in Baton Rouge, LA.Pay and Benefits:
Compensation as a Field Technician starts at $18.00 an hour with opportunity for increases as skills are developed and quality performance is maintained. Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication: verbal and written
Strong attention to detail
Initiative: ability to manage small projects and solve problems independently
Technologically savvy
Navigational skills
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders up to 15 feet, and operate power tools safely
Ability to adhere to safety guidelinesRequirements:
Clean driving record
Pass drug screening upon hire and randomly throughout employment
