Were not a personal injury firm. The clients we represent are in a highly respected specialized area of law known as ERISA “ The Employee Retirement Income Security Act. This is the only thing we do, weve been doing it for 30 years, we take great pride in the quality of our work and the lives we change, and were very good at it.

The Position:

Offering a competitive starting salary, the open position includes what we have nicknamed Ambassador of First Impressions. This involves answering phones to gather important initial information from potential clients and inputting that information into our case management software. Friendliness, patience and empathy are paramount, as we take pride in one of our most important core values: offering the absolute best client experience from beginning to end.

Then, if we decide the case is a worthy cause and we can help, the position includes, next, opening a case, setting an appointment with the client, or arranging for the client to sign our contract for representation electronically, gathering certain documents and additional information from the client, inputting the information and scanning the documents into their file in the case management software, and following up with the client until we have received all required information necessary to prosecute their cases.

The position will provide great opportunity, if desired, to learn all other aspects of our practice from beginning to end, and elevation to higher levels of responsibility and compensation as your knowledge and skills and our firm grow.

Requirements:

This position, our culture and work quality require reliability (being on time, always, absent emergency) friendliness, empathy, attention to detail, ability to follow organized instructions, systems and processes, the ability and desire to learn to become proficient in a wonderfully organized case management software, the desire to be a forever learner, proficiency in typing skills and use of Microsoft Word, excellent spelling, grammar and writing skills, and a knack for, and desire to learn other computer software programs.

Anyone who thrives on gossip, workplace drama, facebook, texting or engaging in personal or recreational telephone or internet endeavors at work will not fit our culture. We find that those things poison the wonderful atmosphere that we protect and kill productivity.
