We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Direct Loan Supervisor to join our team. As a Direct Loan Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the loan department, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies. You will be expected to lead a team of loan officers and provide guidance and support to ensure the timely and accurate processing of loan applications. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service and that our loan department operates efficiently and effectively. As a Direct Loan Supervisor, you will need to have strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team of loan officers. You will also need to have a deep understanding of loan processing regulations and policies to ensure compliance. Additionally, you will need to be highly organized and detail-oriented to monitor loan application pipelines and ensure timely and accurate processing. Proficiency in loan origination software and experience in a banking or financial institution are also beneficial. Overall, your skills will be used to ensure that our loan department operates efficiently and effectively, providing exceptional customer service to our members.Job Requirements:
College degree in business, finance or related field. Or equivalent experience.
At least three years of progressive experience in lending-related positions.
2 years underwriting experience.
Administrative and supervisory experience.
Thorough knowledge of credit union loan products and applicable policies and standards.
Understanding of government regulations and legal requirements involving lending andrelated functions.
