OverviewAMERISAFE is seeking a detail-oriented, productivity driven professional to add to our “Excellence Team” based in DeRidder, LA. This non-exempt position will have principal responsibility for safety service functions at the home office. The Safety Services Supervisor (SSS) is principally responsible for supervising the home office staff and supporting the Senior Vice President of Safety. Duties include but are not limited to preparing operational reports, service reports, audits, and supporting safety leadership. Upon an offer and acceptance of employment with AMERISAFE, you will be required to complete our pre-employment screening, which includes a criminal background check, a 10-panel drug test and, if applicable, a review of your motor vehicle report. A 10-panel drug test includes amphetamine/methamphetamine, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine metabolite (BZE), marijuana metabolite (THCA), methadone, methaqualone, codeine/morphine, phencyclidine, propoxyphene. Qualifications
Relevant four-year BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of work experience, relevant training, advanced certifications and proven results
Management/supervision experience is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Excellent organizational, reporting, project and time management skills
Working knowledge of insurance operations and workers compensation
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders
Demonstrated customer-service orientation and attitude
Demonstrated ability in problem solving and dispute resolution
Demonstrated ability in creative thinking, self-direction, and initiative
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-pressure environment

Responsibilities
Supervise home office staff
Support Senior Vice President of Safety Operations and field safety leadership
Responsible for all safety service functions
Prepare operational reports for Senior VP of Safety Operations
Prepare safety service reports for safety leadership
Provide necessary support for field operations to resolve challenges experiencing
Production of required monthly regulatory solicitation and loss analysis letters
Monitor all regulatory activity including TX fatalities
Maintain monthly field leadership evaluation documentation
Maintain territory maps by updating and revising as necessary
Maintain Safety Department material on AMERISAFE intranet
Submit JIRAs to the IT Department including testing to implement changes
Prepare audits for Arkansas, Texas and Pennsylvania
Prepare renewal certifications and accident prevention reports for California, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Kansas annually
Fosters the AMERISAFE culture by embracing the pillars of consistency, focus, frugality, ownership and service
