Weyerhaeuser is currently hiring for an Industrial Electrician at our Holden Lumber facility. At Weyerhaeuser, our most valued resources aren't just the trees and timberlands we oversee. Their skill and ingenuity have made Weyerhaeuser one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of wood products in the world.This position provides electrical maintenance support to our sawmill located in Holden, LA. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining electric motors, scanners, drives, and PLC's on equipment used in manufacturing random length lumber. This position will also provide basic mechanical support as needed. Weyerhaeuser offers stable employment, excellent pay and benefits, and opportunities to advance.
All applicants must have a high school diploma/GED or higher
Minimum of three years of electrical experience in an industrial environment is preferred
Knowledge and experience with motor control systems
Ability to program, repair, and troubleshoot PLC's
Willing and able to work any shift, weekends, overtime and holidays as needed

Preferred:
Basic mechanical skills
Knowledge of hydraulics
Experience with computerized maintenance systems
