This position can support both NPI and Released Product Management for both Medical Devices and Non-Devices. You will work within a team of Quality Engineers and with a variety of other functional groups and teams that support development and sustainment of our product portfolio. You will work both independently and with a variety of functional team members to support our products and business objectives.You can grow your career with us; we hope you’ll consider joining our team!A Day in the Life May specialize in the areas of design product evaluation and reliability, and research and development as they apply to product or process quality Collaborates with engineering functions to ensure quality standards are in place, develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for quality operating methods, processes, and procedures Conducts evaluation of systems activities including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, test, verification and validation Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives Ensures that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts. Reviews systems design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies Reviews or directs verification and validation of hardware and /or software, COTS, and Non- Products software, system requirements, traceability, and testability Supports Defect Management process and resolution Supports NC/CAPA process requirements and supports Quality Engineering tasks for NC/CAPA and Root Cause Analysis Understanding of Standards: ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems, IEC 62304 Medical Device Software Development, and ISO 14971 Risk Management and 21CFR part 820 and 211. Collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier functions to ensure quality standards are in place Devises and implements methods and procedures for testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and design testing equipment Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirementsMust Haves Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Quality/Engineering experience OR advanced degreeNice to Have Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience in Agile methodologyAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
