This would include the execution of quality processes in support of division wide certification and integration of improvement recommendations from these assessments into strategic plans for the large engine facility. The Quality Manager is accountable for process quality including machining, assembly, test and engine auditing functions.Job Duties:

Provide leadership and expertise in setting Quality measures for the facility and reporting progress towards meeting goals.

Provide overall leadership to diverse and complex organization of managers, individual contributors, production and contract employees of organization greater than 50 people

Customer facing single point of contact for internal customers and product facing organizations

Ensure the facility quality systems, strategies, and plans are linked in a coordinated manner to enable common strategic goals and communicate them in a clear and understandable manner to resources within and supporting the business unit objectives.

Formulate, develop, and implement quality strategies to improve the as delivered quality to the facility in promoting a defect free culture and mind set.

Develop innovative support the value steam certification throughout the facility to maintain product and process focus for all individual value stream level controls and design characteristics.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field of study and 10 years of relevant experience.

Detailed knowledge of manufacturing operations and quality disciplines, techniques, tools, and equipment.

Good interpersonal and analytical skills

Experience as a leader of multi-level organization

Top Candidates may also have:

Advanced degree in engineering or manufacturing

American Society for Quality (ASQ) Manager of Quality (CMQ), Quality Engineer (CQE)

Travel requirements may be up to 10%.

This position is located in Lafayette, Indiana.
