Automotive Lot Attendant/Porter Needed
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Installing license plates
Moving vehicles within the dealership
Accompanying customers on test drives
Performing daily lot maintenance obligations
Miscellaneous duties within the service department
Scraping and cleaning stickers and decals from windows
Assist other departments within dealership, when requested
Washing and detailing vehicles upon intake, sale, and as otherwise needed
Physical Demands:
Requires the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Requires standing, walking, and bending for long periods of time.
Must be able to pick-up items or materials weighing 50 pounds or less.
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
Must have a high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
Must have a professional appearance, great attitude, and customer friendly.
Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work, with current vehicle registration, and an active automobile insurance policy.
Must have a valid Louisiana driver's license, with no more than one moving violation and/or at fault accident on driving record within the last 5 years.
No drug or alcohol related convictions or accidents on driving record within the last 5 years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States, and not require sponsorship for this position by our Company now, or in the future.
1 year minimum of automotive dealership experience preferred, but not required.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., and Saturday: 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.; with the possibility of additional work hours during peak season.
Located in New Iberia, LA
Salary will commensurate with experience.
