We are an established scrap tire center seeking to hire a driver to add to our yard department. Your responsibilities would include moving trailers on our yard for various needs. We are looking for someone with experience around tractor-trailers, who can learn quickly, and who can work somewhat independently.
Colt, Inc. is a licensed and permitted scrap tire processor and transporter with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality. Weve been in the scrap tire business since 1994 and have grown to be one of the largest scrap tire transporters in Louisiana. Our goal is to provide customers with top-notch service for all of their scrap tire needs.
General Job Requirements:
Experience operating tractor-trailers
The ability to drive and operate in a safe manner at all times
The willingness to fill in on the yard whenever needed
General familiarity with heavy units
A Commercial Drivers License is not required but experiencing backing up 53 trailers into tight spaces is a must
