Cloud Security Specialist
Position Description
Join this dynamic organization as Cloud Security Specialist! With your expertise you will work with a high-performing team to consult and develop solutions for a major client. You will support and interact with the client daily with a focus across the organization. You will have the opportunity to show/grow with technology in a customer-facing role. You should be able to work independently under limited supervision and apply your knowledge. You should have sufficient knowledge and maturity to effectively deal with technical issues and help to support the broader team.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Liaison for the organization
• Guide, support, and oversee an overarching security model for all the cloud-based infrastructure the client is building
• Ensures that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements
• Communicating with stakeholders
• Working in Agile methodologies and building CICD pipelines
• Positive attitude with high degree of professionalism and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction
• Desire to learn new technologies
• Self-motivated and can work with very little supervision in a team environment
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
As such, this Specialist role will need to have experience with the main tools in our platform:
• AWS cloud-based services, with a strong focus on application and data security
• Terraform, CI/CD, DevOps, etc.
• Some technical writing experience would be a strong plus to document our security model to others within the clients firm
• Other full-stack capabilities
