We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.JOB SUMMARYThe Quantity Survey Manager is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge Builders by leading and coordinating all engineering activities to meet the Companys technical objectives related to design and construction.LOCATIONThis position is based in Lake Charles, LA.PRIMARY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the quantity takeoff tracking and management of the project.

Coordinates with Client and other third parties to resolve high-level technical issues to obtain final approval of the executed works.

Identifies, manages, and assists in the preparation of proposals for design alternatives that are beneficial for the project.

Tracks all quantity takeoffs for the project through his team.

Provides contractual support from a technical point of view to other project contracts: contracting support, technical interface with specialized subcontractors, technical disputes, etc.

Identifies technical risks and participates in the preparation of risk reports.

Participates in the review of the Project budget forecasts, providing the necessary technical part for its realization.

Support in the execution stage (project assistance team to resolve nonconformities, RFI with designers, and unexpected events during construction).

Advises/participates in the formalization of contracts with engineering companies.

Guarantees the correct transmission of design information to the entire project team.

Collaborates on the technical claims of the project.

Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner through written and verbal communications in all interfaces with customers/public, fellow employees, vendors, etc.

Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.

QUALIFICATIONSAt a minimum, the Quantity Survey Manager must have a bachelors degree in civil engineering, or equivalent field of study, along with 10+ years of engineering related experience with a focus on roadworks and bridges and proven experience working with Design Build Contracts, coordinating within areas of the engineering discipline and construction team, MicroStation, and a multi-cultural environment.[]{style="outline: none; tw-shadow: 0 0 #0000; tw-ring-inset: var(tw-empty,/!/ /!/); tw-ring-offset-width: 0px; tw-ring-offset-color:"}
