Duties and Essential Job Functions:

Select, retain and motivate qualified employees according to federal and state labor laws and company

policies; ensure store is properly staffed at all hours of operation. Evaluate and make changes to staffing that

will be most profitable to the company.

Creating shift schedules for staff. Handling all conflicts with schedule as they arise, in a manner that is fair to

all staff members.

Provide proper training for employees; conduct employee evaluations and identify gaps for appropriate

solutions if needed.

Provide continuous attention to development of staff.

Communicate with the staff and work with them to correct any concerns they may have.

Facilitate efficient workflows pertaining and not limited to ordering, stocking and pricing products.

Paying vendors for purchases in a timely manner.

Maintain store inventory during hours of operation and conducting monthly inventory counts.

Maintain a clean, well-organized store.

Ensure that store is adequately equipped with tools necessary to perform required tasks.

Reconcile daily shift reports and prepare daily deposits according to company policy in place. Handling any

and all discrepancies in shift reports in a professional manner.

Deliver deposits to the bank and pick up change as needed. Monitoring onsite ATM machine and ensuring

that needed cash on hand is sufficient.

Post transactions consisting of following but not limited to, in QuickBooks, daily:

o Daily sales summary and deposits

o Customer daily charges into Accounts Receivable by customer.

o Payments to vendors

Responsible for weekly store payroll which includes:

o Reviewing employee time sheets, process payroll in QuickBooks, and scheduling payroll tax deposits, as they

are due accordingly to federal and state requirements.

Provide monthly required documentation to accountant in a timely manner; working with accountant on any

issues that may arise.

Consult with upper management on any and all issues not outlined in job description.
