Procom Home Automation, LLC is currently looking for an experienced home appliance installer for dispatch work. Appliances include dishwashers, counter and OTR microwaves, hood vents, wall ovens, refrigerators, gas ranges, dryers, garbage disposals and more. Candidates must be extremely self-motivated, professional, and have excellent customer service skills.
(Please note, this is a sub-contractor job, not a W-2 employee.)
Individual Responsibilities and Duties:
Pick-up, delivery and installation of major appliances in a timely manner
Removal of recycled units at job sites
Respectful to company property, customer property, and appliances being handled
Remain responsible for paperwork
Competencies:
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Ability to select and use basic tools or instruments to assemble, adjust, calibrate, or test various products
Knowledge of basic electrical principles
Professional work experience with appliance repair or installation, or an aptitude to learn the trade
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
Ability to communicate concisely and effectively in a polite and professional manner
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and as a team member
Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and proof of current vehicle insurance
Required Equipment:
Reliable truck and enclosed trailer or boxtruck
Smartphone or tablet (with internet access)
Good set of power and hand tools
Dolly for loading/unloading
Daily computer access for printing and uploading paperwork
