Summary: Service Technician / Parts Delivery Driver is key to a successful customer service experience. The main responsibility of this position is to ensure that correct parts/supplies are being loaded and delivered to our customers in a timely manner. To be successful, a Service Delivery Driver must possess many different skills. A major objective of this position is to ensure customers are happy & stay happy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Must be able to input data into computer for parts and work orders. Will be helping service department with filing and upkeep of paperwork.
Maintain company vehicle, which includes keeping vehicle clean, stocked, and serviced.
Pick up parts from factory as needed / Deliver parts to contractors, retailers, and homeowners.
Verify parts with orders.
Be able to adapt and assist with parts and materials for contractors / material orders.
Must be able to travel daily, Monday - Friday, and book your own rooms within our allowed rates.
Must be able to keep track and log weekly trips.
Qualifications
Data input
Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
Able to lift 50lbs multiple times a day.
Understand and comply with work safety and policies and procedures.
Must provide valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must have a great / positive attitude!
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
