As the short-term contract to full-time hire Sales Assistant, you should be able to work in Metairie, Louisiana.Responsibilities
Respond to customer requests quickly and professionally, providing superior service
Administering and arranging training courses for internal employees
Writing communications and prooing materials
Handling the generation of sales reports and preparations for presentations
Aiding the sales department with the promotion of company products and services
Providing administrative, technical and clerical support to sales teams
Providing support for and participating in trade shows and conventions
Ensuring process completion by assisting with coordinating orders
Handling arrangements for travel and meetings
Executing any additional Sales Assistant-related tasks as required
Requirements
Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets
Deep understanding of presentation preparation
Knowledge of calendar managements and scheduling appointments
Salesforce Administration experience preferred
Route Incoming Call experience desired
Demonstrated knowledge of composing various kinds of correspondence
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Adeptness in Sales Quotes
Experience with data entry
Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
2+ years of Sales Assistant experience preferred
BA/BS degree in business, communications, or related field preferred
Superb social skills, experience with project coordination, and capable of working well with staff at all levels and outside clients and vendors
Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
