Position Specific InformationSalary Range: Minimum to Mid-Level Range is $45,531-$56,909Sign-on Bonus eligible!Serving Northern, IL and Monroe, WI for Outreach Services.This position is a 40 hour/week position covering competitive local high schools and high school sporting events as well as industrial rehabilitation within our large outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic.Schedule: Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, and requires flexibility to work nights & weekends as needed for school/sport events and occasionally participate in a 7 am meeting.If you are passionate about athletic training and high school athletes and have excellent communication skills; if you value community and want to support and serve local families – we would love to have you join our amazing team.The Athletic Trainer Board of Certification (BOC) license in the state of employment is required for this position.Job Summary:Assesses injuries and manages comprehensive treatment programs to prevent injury and rehabilitate athletes.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops conditioning programs for injured and non-injured athletes to ensure safety in the program design incorporating nutrition plans and schedules customized to meet individual athlete needs.
Designs and implements comprehensive training or rehabilitation programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes.
Evaluates and manages injuries. Maintains medical documentation on each athlete and acts as a liaison between the physician and the athlete.
Prepares athletes for practice or competition based on team schedules, applicable regulations and guidelines, and in conjunction with physician and sports performance staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
