Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, possess excellent technical skills, and demonstrate leadership abilities. As an HVAC Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise

Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair work on various HVAC systems, including but not limited to chiller, air handlers, heat pumps, boilers, and all unitary devices found in commercial HVAC systems.

Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and provide accurate recommendations for repairs or replacements.

Install new HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems.

Team Management

Supervise a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Assign tasks and projects to technicians based on their skill levels and workload capacity.

Monitor the progress of ongoing projects to ensure timely completion and quality workmanship.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to technicians.

Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Customer Service

Interact with customers in a professional manner, addressing their concerns and providing solutions to their HVAC-related issues.

Communicate effectively with customers regarding the scope of work, timelines, and any potential additional costs.

Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and resolving any complaints or issues promptly.

Maintain accurate records of service calls, including detailed notes on performed work and parts used.

Administrative Tasks

Manage inventory levels of parts and equipment necessary for HVAC repairs and installations.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of required materials.

Prepare and submit reports on service activities, including job completion status, technician productivity, and customer feedback.

Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulations related to HVAC systems.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical training in HVAC systems is preferred.

Proven experience as an HVAC service manager, with a minimum of 5 years of HVAC service management experience.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Demonstrated leadership abilities with previous experience in a management or supervisory role.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficient computer skills for recordkeeping and generating reports.

  • SUMMARY: This position is responsible for making and serving nutritious meals for students in a safe and healthful manner.
