A premier manufacturer of aerospace structural parts is looking to hire a quality engineer!JOB DESCRIPTION
Supports flow down of all customer and industry standard requirements and communicates that information to ensure that product meets contracted requirements.
Provides leadership and training for other Quality Engineers/Quality Administrators. T
Interface with customers and suppliers.
Maintain a working knowledge of customer and industry quality standards (AS9100 / AS9102).
Reads and interprets engineering drawings and specifications.
Understand GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerance).
Performs internal audits to verify/ensure conformance to requirements and prepares formal audit reports.
Applies PO Quality clauses to applicable product in MRP system.
Review manufacturing plans/NRCs created by Engineering and approves them based on compliance with customer specifications.
Reviews and approves Change Incorporation Requests (CIRs) and Contract Review Records (CRRs) as needed.
Prepares First Article Inspection Reports in accordance with AS9102 standards.
Provide technical input for internal disposition on rejected product.
Submit nonconforming product to customers.
Analyzes rejection history and provide data to management.

QUALIFICATIONS
10 years Quality Assurance/Inspection experience in the aerospace industry or 5 years QA experience with a degree in a related field.
Proficiency in MS Office products and email systems.
Ability to read, understand and interpret Engineering Drawings and specifications at an advanced level.
Fluent understanding of GD&T.
Documented internal audit experience.
Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis and RCCA methodology and tools (5 Why’s, Fishbone Diagrams, etc.)
Basic ability to navigate within Busin.
PAY
$30/hr-$42/hr depending on experience.

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
