Must be present at the project site while work is being performed All work is expected to be accomplished between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday unless otherwise notified.
Understand that work schedules must remain reasonably flexible to support our Team schedule.
Comfortable working in outdoor environments and field trailer
Work with and support Project Team, including PM & EPS EHS Specialist
Education Requirements: At minimum must meet administrative, educational, experience and training requirements
College Degree in safety management, industrial hygiene or related discipline. CSP, CIH, CHST/OHST certification(s) desired
Experience will be considered in lieu of college degree
Must possess OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry Safety
Current Red Cross First Aid and CPR training or equivalent is recommended
24 hrs. of yearly safety and health related classes
Experience Requirements:
10+ years of health and safety management experience on large-scale construction projects
5 years in EM 385-1-1 requirements for Government Project Safety. May require proof of dates, names of projects and dollar amounts
In-depth knowledge and experience demolition, hoisting and rigging, hot work, use of mobile and heavy equipment and cranes, confined space entry, electrical safety and working and walking surfaces safety
Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations (29CFR1926 and 29CFR1910), and USACE health and safety requirements (EM 385-1-1)
Have knowledge of MS Office products combined with good communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills desired
