For more information, visit www.dxc.technology.Your role:Within DXC Technology, DevOps Enablement is a global organization responsible for implementing DevOps practices, Tools to support our Build & Delivery teams in building and delivering customer offerings and DevOps engineering services to our customers. The main objectives of this organization are:
Provide a set of tools enabling a DevOps Platform needed to build a complete supply chain for application solutions (pipeline) DXC wide
Create a community around Agile and DevOps, develop a DevOps culture among employees and instill a collaborative mindset among the different teams
Work closely with DXC teams to help them transform their solutions and processes to take advantage of Agile and DevOps
Drive the deployment of "Platform DXC" - our next generation of customer service management platform, all in native cloud mode
The DevOps Enablement team is based in Grenoble, USA and India. It has an environment that favors the implementation of key concepts of DevOps such as automation, management of everything with code, execution of projects in Agile mode. It builds these solutions with advanced technologies such as Docker / Kubernetes and Public Amazon Cloud Services (AWS).As a DevOps Engineer within our organization, you will have the following missions:
Design, develop, test driven develop, deploy, operate and optimize applications that meet the expectations and needs of our customers E2E
Define and conduct tests - mainly automatic - to ensure successful application startup;
Support the integration and deployment of solutions;
Ensure the proper functioning of applications by analyzing and responding to anomalies through automated monitoring
Set up monitoring phases and ensure the quality of production
You will participate in all stages of the project while following a personalized integration path allowing you to follow training and master our methodologies
Work with Agile and Agira solutions
Experienced in Gidhub since is our main source code management tool
Very familair with Agile, to be able to manage source code, and continues integration. They manage Jenkins piplelines on bionics solutions offerings of DXC
Internalize the practices, to coach internal and external customers
Devops coaching to give ideas to bring your automation to live and accelerate processes. How do you put it in your day to day
Requirements :
Computer Science or equivalent plus 3-5 years’ experience in and software development capacity;
You must have experience of the following technologies, tools, and languages: Java Script, Python, Unix Shell, GIT / GitHub, Jenkins, Junit, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, Nagios, Virtualized Environments, and Public Cloud (like AWS);
A level of technical English is required (active participation in meetings in English, technical conversation, reading and writing of technical documents);
1 year of experience as a minimum of Agile methodology (especially Scrum)
Computer Science in software development, with ability to learn and be curious. If they can script they are good to go
