Grupo Chamuco’s first hospitality venture, Acamaya, will open soon in the Bywater. Bon Appetite Magazine called us one of the 9 most anticipated restaurants openings of 2024. Sisters Ana and Lydia Castro aim to serve contemporary Mexican seafood with warm service in a positive space for their staff.
All hourly staff members will be included in our tip-share structure. In addition to certain skill qualifications, ideal candidates will be aligned with our core values and ethos which are heavily reliant on teamwork and respect for one another.
Selected applicants will be invited for an interview within the block of Thursday, May 16th to Wednesday May 22nd.
Hosts assist with reservations, answering phone calls, engaging with guests, and supporting the flow of service. Ideal hosts will have a strong interpersonal skillset and be able to dynamically solve problems.
Experience with Resy or a similar reservation-service program is highly preferred.
Part-time/full-time position, available evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Candidates must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day, lift up to 40 pounds, and navigate a restaurant while carrying plates and glasses.
